At 6:56 a.m. on Thursday, a razor-thin majority of the U.S. House of Representatives voted to pass a sweeping budget bill that would impose draconian cuts to critical public services, allocate billions of dollars to executing President Donald Trump’s anti-immigrant agenda, and gift $ 1.5 trillion in tax breaks to the wealthiest people in the country.
